I discovered the incredible power of gatherings after my grandmother passed away.
That year, I designed a Persian New Year celebration to both welcome the new year and honor her memory.My grandmother always inspired me to be the best version of myself, so I invited others to bring a personal item that symbolized a similar inspiration in their own lives.
What happened next surprised me. After fun times with food and music, we found that sharing these stories was unexpectedly healing and meaningful, and brought closer us together in a way I didn’t anticipate.
It’s a special memory that I'll never forget.Around the same time, I started a new neighborhood community and introduced reflective activities and simple rituals.
After a few gatherings, members expressed gratitude for the unique space I had created; one even shared that it had transformed their entire social life.That’s when I realized the profound impact of intentional gatherings, and that I wanted to help others experience this kind of connection and meaning.
I’m especially drawn to using creativity, storytelling, and elements from cultural rituals and wisdom to spark meaningful experiences.I am inspired to help individuals, communities, and teams strengthen bonds, spark inspiration, and support one another.

Shared Storytelling
I design experiences that invite guests to reflect and share, because storytelling fosters connection and makes gatherings more meaningful.
At a going-away party for someone preparing to defend her postdoctoral thesis, we explored Sisu, the Finnish concept of quiet inner strength and perseverance.

Rooted in Ritual
I incorporate rituals at gatherings to create unique experiences that can bring what’s most needed in the moment, whether they’re inspired by your culture, the season, or a transition in your life.

At a Yoga & Wellness Festival, guests shared personal insights and intentions on a Reflection Board. As the day unfolded, the board became a vibrant mosaic of voices, reminding everyone of connection, growth, and shared purpose. This same approach can inspire generosity at nonprofit fundraisers and strengthen trust and culture within organizations.
